OD Bongo is a meeting between Somaticae’s beats and C_C’s noisy grooves. Using various drum machines, the duo mixes genres such as techno, dub, noise and industrial. These musicians from Ambert and Saint-Étienne build a soundscape of continuous rhythms and immerse the crowds in a bubble of wild music.  Their first LP was released in October 2017 on both SK and Serendip labels, and the new album was released this year on Lost Dogs Entertainment.

Half ambient, half bloody, noise with a precise geometry. Untel creates a singular music which could be said to be a threshold to the underworlds, or to celebrate the wedding of an unknown divinity.

Vincent Moon’s “live cinéma” is a performance improvising with live-edited images, music on stage and in the films screened, and research towards new forms of ceremonies. Each performance is a unique combination of films and music, based on the recordings of his own Collection Petites Planètes, partly in collaboration with writer and explorer Priscilla Telmon. All the performances are site-specific and sometimes involve local musicians and participants, leading to a new film being created on the spot every time.

Vincent Moon is an independent french filmmaker and radical sound explorer. He was the main director of the Blogotheque’s Take Away Shows, a web-based project recording field work music videos of indie rock related musicians as well as some notable mainstream artists. For the past ten years, Vincent Moon has been traveling around the globe with a camera in his backpack, documenting local folklores, sacred music, trance ceremonies and experimental music, for his label Collection Petites Planètes, always releasing the material (more than 1000 films so far) under open source licences on internet.

In the afternoon Vincent Moon will hold a masterclass, drawing excerpts from his own films and music recordings made around the world, to explore the links between modern digital tools and the ancient sacred techniques of shamans and healers, and to demonstrate strange and striking associations between these two worlds.
